Sam Evans, Managing Partner
Sam is an entrepreneur and business strategist with a proven track record of helping companies grow, scale, and transition successfully.
While searching for a business to acquire, he experienced firsthand the inefficiencies in the business brokerage industry—business owners lacked proper representation, buyers didn’t get the insights they needed, and deals often failed to maximize value for both parties. Recognizing the need for a more strategic, transparent, and results-driven approach, Sam set out to ensure business owners secure the right deal—maximizing the full value of their companies while preserving their legacy, protecting their reputation, and ensuring a seamless transition.

Sam began his career at Ernst & Young, consulting Fortune 500 businesses on strategic operations and financial performance. He later worked in venture capital, gaining expertise in investments, market analysis, and scaling companies for long-term success. He also consulted for startups across multiple industries, helping them refine growth strategies, streamline operations, and position for investment & acquisition. As an entrepreneur, he founded a CPG company, successfully leading it to a strategic partnership with an international industry leader.
Today, as Managing Partner of GBM Capital, Sam specializes in:
- Business acquisitions & growth strategy
- Guiding owners through scaling, optimizing, and selling
- Exit planning, valuations, and hands-on deal execution
Sam holds an MBA & MHA from Cornell University and a Finance degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking with his dog, cooking, and playing sports.
